Learning Disability Physiotherapy Service – Exercise Class

NHS Lanarkshire’s Learning Disability Physiotherapy Service are running an exercise class aimed at those who are age 16+ and meet the following criteria: have a known learning disability, are able to mobilise with or without assistance/walking aid, can participate in group activity with the appropriate level of support, but have a reduced physical activity level at present and are unable to attend mainstream exercise class.

The aim of the class is to improve and maintain the general health and wellbeing of those age 16+ with a learning disability in Lanarkshire, increase their physical activity level, and to provide an appropriate exercise class for those meeting the eligibility criteria to attend on a regular basis.
