Kinship Carers Week Coffee Morning

Children and Families Wellbeing attended a fantastic coffee morning at Gartlea Community Centre to celebrate Kinship Carers week.

The event featured an awareness raising session on Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) which prompted some insightful questions from the carers and staff in attendance.

Later they were also given a chance to comment on the GIRFEC in NL website (www.girfecinnl.com) and how NLC communicate GIRFEC to children, young people and families/carers by completing a survey.
