New Chryston Community Hub proves a hit with Swedish visitors!
At the start of September, colleagues from education welcomed visitors from the Swedish Education Department to the new Chryston Community Hub.
The delegation was looking to find out more about the development and implementation of GIRFEC (Getting It Right For Every Child) within Scotland.
They were briefed on how this council is advancing GIRFEC and promoting integrative practices through the Empowering Clusters Model, as well as the development of the Plan for North Lanarkshire.
The group saw first-hand GIRFEC in action and how the hub operates, particularly the ways in which both health and education services work to support local children.
The visit took place on Thursday 5 September with three members of the Swedish Education Department and a representative from Education Scotland visiting the Chryston Community Hub.
