Volunteer training:
Home Start’s next volunteer training in North Lanarkshire starts 25th Feb and will run over 5 weeks, each training session is on a Tuesday 10am-12.30pm
Becoming a Home-Start volunteer could be a rewarding journey for you, seeing the difference you have made!
Families may need support if they are going through relationship issues, low mental health, isolation, financial problems, coping being a new parent or juggling multiple children. Just having that little bit of extra support and encouragement each week makes a difference!

Services/Support:
What do we do?
We support families with at least one child under the age of 5 who are struggling with the challenges of everyday life.
We can offer:
- Home-visiting and community support with a trained volunteer, our volunteers are kind, non-judgmental and are great listeners. They will can offer emotional and practical support.
- Perinatal Support which is supporting families through pregnancy up to 3 years of age with an experienced Family Support Coordinator.
- We host local family groups which offer a warm welcome, and lots of great activities and fun. A chance to meet new friends!

Every Monday at the Springhill Community Centre in Shotts.

Café Stork Cumbernauld
Every Thursday at St Mungo’s Church, Cumbernauld.
