SAMH – Let’s Connect Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshops

SAMH understand that this time of year can be particularly challenging for many children and young people, as well as for parents, carers, and staff.

The transition into the long summer break can bring heightened stress, uncertainty, and emotional strain – whether it’s due to changes in routine, increased pressure, or concerns about the months ahead. That’s why it’s more important than ever to prioritise mental health and wellbeing before the school year ends.

As the school year wraps up, SAMH still have limited availability for their FREE Let’s Connect mental health and wellbeing workshops before the summer break.

Thanks to targeted community mental health funding and South Lanarkshire Council, we are able to continue offering these workshops free of charge – making them an ideal opportunity for schools, community groups, and family organisations to support mental health and wellbeing .

These engaging workshops are designed for children, young people, staff, volunteers, and parents/carers, and cover vital topics such as:

  • Mental Health Awareness
  • Understanding and Managing Stress & Anxiety
  • Developing a Positive Body Image (S1–S4)
  • Understanding Male Mental Health (S2–S6+)
  • SAMH 5 Ways to Better Wellbeing (P5 +)
  • Listening to and Supporting Your Child (parents/carers only)
  • Youth Peer Supporter Training (S3+)
